New Starter — Right to Work Check

Before you start: uploading a document here is the first step, not the whole check. Submitting this form does not, on its own, meet the legal requirement for a right-to-work check. Before or on your first day, one of the following must still happen:

your original document is checked in person, or over a live video call while you hold the original; or
an approved identity service provider verifies you digitally (available if you hold a British or Irish passport); or
HR checks your right to work online using a share code you generate yourself.

HR will contact you to arrange whichever of these applies to you, before your start date.

We'll use the date of birth you gave in Section 1 to match against your share code at gov.uk/view-right-to-work.

Immigration document photo/scan — front * E.g. passport with visa vignette. Immigration document photo/scan — back If the document has relevant information on the reverse. Visa / permission expiry date Used to schedule follow-up checks before it expires.
